Pendant in the shape of a koi that tries to twist itself free from the holding hand. The white enameled hand is tattooed with golden shells and sea snails; it wears a bracelet set with diamonds and diamond and sapphire-set rings. The koi’s engraved scales are outlined with black enamel and covered with opalescent enamel of orangey peach color with flame-red and black markings. The eyes are composed of rock crystal lenses with pupils set on the reverse and underlaid with radially engraved iris discs of partially oxidized white gold. One of a kind.
